Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Solutions Architect to design scalable cloud architectures, collaborate with sales, and guide customers through best practices for migrating workloads to AWS. You will lead architectural discussions and author customer-facing content, while traveling up to 20% to engage with enterprise clients.

You will build relationships with senior technical stakeholders, drive broad adoption of AWS within enterprise accounts, and contribute to a culture of innovation

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in technology domains (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
• 5+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in software or Internet industries.

Responsibilities

• Participate in deep architectural and design discussions to create world-class solutions built on AWS.
• Author and contribute to AWS customer-facing publications such as whitepapers and proofs of concept.
• In partnership with the sales team, formulate and execute a sales strategy to exceed revenue objectives through the adoption of AWS.
• Build deep relationships with senior technical individuals within customers to enable them to be cloud advocates.
• Capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the AWS solutions architect community.
• Travel is expected to be 20%.
