Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Senior Software Developer to design, build, and maintain cloud-based solutions on AWS, with a strong emphasis on serverless architectures. This fully remote role supports TEKsystems Global Services' delivery teams across client engagements.

You will translate requirements into high-quality code, apply security and observability best practices, and collaborate with architects to deliver scalable, resilient applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years hands-on cloud development with AWS.
• Experience with serverless Node.js Lambdas and AWS SDK for JavaScript.
• Experience with API Gateway, Cognito, Lambda, and S3.
• Python scripting with boto3.
• IaC using AWS CDK (TypeScript).
• GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket for source control.
• Experience with EC2, ECS, EKS, Lambda.
• Observability and IAM security in AWS.
• Cloud-native architectures and AI prompt engineering.

Responsibilities

• Translate requirements into high-quality, maintainable code.
• Follow best practices and modern cloud architectures.
• Develop, test, and deploy modular accelerator code.
• Integrate security, networking, and observability features.
• Participate in code reviews and continuous improvement.
• Apply flexible logic to base patterns from repos.
• Learn new patterns and technologies quickly.
