Job summary

Redhorse Corporation is seeking a Cloud Software Engineer/Architect (Full-Stack and AI) to design, build, and deploy enterprise-scale AI-enabled data platforms. You will own components across hybrid, on-premises, and multi-cloud environments and contribute to high-performance cyber analytics interfaces.

You will architect scalable microservices, implement AI/ML workflows, and collaborate with federal stakeholders to ensure secure, resilient solutions supporting national missions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of software engineering in distributed, production-grade systems.
• Experience with cloud-native architectures (AWS/Azure GovCloud).
• Strong backend development in one of Python/Java/C#/C/C++.
• Proficient in RESTful APIs and microservices design.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable cloud architectures and microservices.
• Lead full-stack development of backend services and UI for data visualization.
• Integrate AI/ML workflows, vector databases, and LLMs into pipelines.
• Build high-throughput data processing and messaging pipelines.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align engineering with mission goals.
• Implement IaC, automated tests, and secure CI/CD pipelines.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
