Job summary

Redhorse Corporation is seeking a Senior Cloud Software Engineer/Architect to design, build, and deploy AI-enabled data platforms across hybrid and multi-cloud environments. You will own critical components, lead backend and frontend development, and drive secure, scalable solutions for national-security missions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related STEM field.
• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience designing, deploying, and maintaining production-grade apps.
• Strong proficiency in at least one modern backend language (Python, Java, C#, or C/C++) with shell scripting.
• Hands-on experience in AWS or Azure cloud services and cloud-native apps.
• Knowledge of distributed systems, microservices, secure API development, and SQL/NoSQL databases.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize scalable cloud architectures and microservices across AWS and Azure GovCloud.
• Lead end-to-end development of backend services and modern UIs for cyber data visualization.
• Integrate AI/ML workflows and LLMs into data processing pipelines.
• Build high-throughput data processing workflows and distributed messaging pipelines.
• Collaborate on software vulnerability assessments and secure data handling.
• Implement IaC, automated testing, and secure CI/CD pipelines.
• Provide technical guidance and mentor junior/mid-level developers.
