Job summary

Redhorse Corporation is seeking a Cloud Software Engineer/Architect (Full-Stack and AI) to design, build, and deploy AI-enabled data platforms for national-security missions. The role spans hybrid, on-premises, and multi-cloud environments with leadership responsibilities in architecture and mentoring.

You will drive backend services, RESTful APIs, and modern UIs while integrating AI/ML workflows and scalable data pipelines for cyber analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related STEM discipline.
• 6+ years of progressive professional software engineering experience designing, deploying, and maintaining production-grade applications.
• Strong proficiency in at least one modern backend language such as Python, Java, C#, or C/C++, with shell scripting.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms AWS or Azure.
• Knowledge of distributed systems, microservices, secure API development, and SQL/NoSQL databases.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize scalable cloud architectures and microservices across AWS and Azure GovCloud/commercial.
• Lead full-stack development of backend services, RESTful APIs, and responsive web UIs for cyber analytics.
• Integrate AI/ML workflows, LLMs and vector databases into data pipelines.
• Develop high-throughput data processing workflows and distributed messaging pipelines.
• Support cyber tooling, vulnerability assessment, secure data handling, and DevSecOps CI/CD.
