Job summary

Redhorse Corporation is seeking a Cloud Software Engineer/Architect (Full-Stack and AI) to design, develop, and deploy enterprise-scale AI-enabled data processing and visualization platforms. You will own critical components across hybrid, on-premises, and multi-cloud environments (AWS/Azure GovCloud) and work with federal stakeholders to align engineering with mission goals.

You will lead backend services, create RESTful APIs, build responsive UIs, and integrate AI/ML capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related STEM discipline.
• 6+ years of progressive professional software engineering experience designing, deploying, and maintaining production-grade applications.
• Strong proficiency in at least one modern backend language such as Python, Java, C#, or C/C++, with shell scripting (Bash, PowerShell).
• Hands-on experience developing, deploying, and monitoring cloud-native applications in AWS or Microsoft Azure.
• Knowledge of distributed systems design, microservices, secure API development, and database systems (SQL/NoSQL).

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize scalable, fault-tolerant cloud architectures and microservices across AWS and Azure GovCloud/commercial.
• Lead end-to-end development of backend services, RESTful APIs, and modern web UIs for complex cyber data visualization.
• Integrate AI/ML workflows and vector databases into data processing pipelines to accelerate insight discovery.
• Build and maintain high-throughput data processing workflows and distributed messaging pipelines.
• Collaborate with security-focused teams on vulnerability assessments and secure data handling.
• Implement IaC, automated testing, and secure CI/CD pipelines for deployment across secure environments.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor junior developers while aligning with federal mission goals.
