Job summary

Redhorse Corporation is seeking a Cloud Software Engineer (Mid-Level) to design, implement, and deploy AI-enabled data processing and visualization systems for critical federal missions. You’ll work across hybrid, on‑premises, and multi‑cloud environments (AWS/Azure GovCloud) developing scalable backend services and modern UIs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering.
• 2+ years of progressive software development experience delivering scalable applications.
• Security Clearance: Active Top Secret (TS).
• Hands-on experience with backend languages Python, Java, C#, or C/C++ and scripting (Bash, PowerShell).
• Experience deploying cloud services in AWS or Microsoft Azure.
• Strong RESTful API development, relational/NoSQL databases, and Git usage.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain secure microservices and cloud components across AWS and Azure GovCloud.
• Build and optimize web UIs and data dashboards using React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Integrate AI/ML workflows and Large Language Models into data pipelines.
• Support distributed data processing workflows and event-driven messaging.
• Collaborate with architects, data scientists, and stakeholders to deliver deployable software features.
