Job summary

Connected Logistics is seeking a Senior Cloud Security Engineer to support cybersecurity architecture for a DoD/VA program. You will design and implement security solutions across complex cloud environments, addressing MLS requirements and risk reduction, while mentoring staff and coordinating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or an Associate's with 2 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in cybersecurity, security engineering, architecture, IT, or related field.
• Experience evaluating security technologies and incorporating security capabilities into technical solutions.
• Experience designing, engineering, or implementing cybersecurity solutions.
• Ability to translate technical requirements into implementable security solutions.
• Ability to communicate complex cybersecurity concepts to engineering teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and define cybersecurity requirements for mission-critical applications, systems, and cloud environments.
• Evaluate security products and capabilities against technical and mission requirements.
• Design, engineer, and implement cybersecurity solutions for complex system and MLS requirements.
• Assess MLS requirements and develop technical security solutions and architectural approaches.
• Identify security vulnerabilities and risks in system and cloud architectures and propose mitigations.
• Perform cybersecurity risk analysis and develop recommended mitigation strategies.
• Develop security architecture recommendations aligned with system, data, and mission needs.
• Incorporate security engineering principles across design, development, and operations.
• Collaborate with cloud, infrastructure, DevSecOps, cybersecurity, and enterprise teams to integrate security requirements.
• Provide SME guidance on cybersecurity architecture, cloud security, and risk reduction.
