Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Security Architect to lead secure cloud architecture across public, private, and hybrid environments. You will partner with Cloud Center of Excellence and Enterprise Architecture to design, deploy and govern resilient solutions that meet security and regulatory requirements.

You will mentor the team, stay current on cybersecurity trends, and drive best practices for monitoring, IAM, encryption, and data protection across SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS layers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• 5 years of related experience.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Architect scalable, resilient cloud security for public, private and hybrid clouds.
• Advise on secure SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS deployments and configurations.
• Review architecture plans with Enterprise Architecture (EA) group and Cloud Center of Excellence.
• Lead security design, build, testing and deployment across cloud infrastructure.
• Mentor junior team members and drive security best practices across projects.
• Create and enforce enterprise security standards for resilience and compliance.
• Serve as escalation point for incident response and risk mitigation.
• Oversee secure monitoring, IAM, encryption, data protection and logging controls.
