Job summary

ShorePoint, a fast-growing cybersecurity services firm, is hiring a Journeyman Cloud Security Engineer for onsite work in Las Vegas, NV. You will strengthen security posture across Azure, VMware VCF and on‑prem environments, supporting Zero Trust and DevSecOps initiatives while enforcing compliance and secure architecture design.

You will integrate security tools into CI/CD pipelines, automate tasks with scripting and IaC, and contribute to risk assessments and ATO documentation throughout

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and DoD RMF/NIST 800-53 exposure.
• 5+ years in cybersecurity with automation and cloud-scale ops.
• Strong understanding of secure cloud architectures and RBAC.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME for cloud security incidents coordinating with operations teams.
• Integrate security tooling into CI/CD pipelines and automate workflows.
• Support Zero Trust implementations and identity governance across clouds.
• Prepare and maintain ATO documentation and security policies.
