Job summary

VSolvit, LLC is seeking an Azure Cloud Architect (SME Support) to provide strategic leadership and hands‑on engineering for complex DoD cloud projects. You will validate designs, guide MLZ implementation with IaC, and shape security and compliance strategies across Azure government and commercial environments.

The role emphasizes Zero Trust modernization, Azure Firewall Premium configurations, and sustaining a secure cloud stack.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• 2–4 years of cloud engineering experience with Azure administration and cloud architecture.
• DoD expertise: maintenance and sustainment of DoD SCCA requirements.
• Hands‑on IaC: Azure Bicep or ARM templates; CI/CD platforms and git‑based workflows.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a DoD Top Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Validate technical Engineering Assessments with Cloud Engineers for viability and scalability.
• Lead MLZ deployment using automated IaC workflows.
• Recommend design across data storage, identity, governance, and monitoring pillars.
• Guide MO cloud transition strategies and coordinate with Program Managers.
