ShorePoint is seeking a Journeyman Cloud Security Engineer to strengthen security across Azure, VMware VCF and on‑prem infrastructure. You will support Zero Trust and DevSecOps, streamline operations with automation, and contribute to secure architecture in a fast‑growing cybersecurity firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 5+ years in cybersecurity with automation.
• Experience in DoD RMF, NIST 800-53, STIGs.
• Azure security & identity management.
• IaC for secure cloud deployments (Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates).
• CI/CD pipelines integration & security tooling.

Responsibilities

• Lead cloud security incidents and coordinate with Cyber Operations teams.
• Integrate security scanning tools into CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, SonarQube, Trivy).
• Advance Zero Trust Architecture implementations (ZTA, PIM, Identity Governance).
• Perform cloud compliance checks aligned with DoD baselines (NIST 800-53, RMF).
• Monitor cloud-native SIEM tools (Azure Sentinel, Splunk) and log analytics.
• Automate security tasks with scripting (PowerShell, Python).
• Assist with ATO documentation and policy enforcement.
• Manage token/certificate renewal automation and credential lifecycles.
• Support patching and endpoint protection across cloud environments.
