Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal seeks a Senior Associate to lead cloud security architecture reviews across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud. You will design zero trust patterns, assess configurations, and guide clients on secure cloud adoption with strong governance and risk focus.

You will collaborate with CISOs, cloud engineers, and deal teams to translate findings into prioritized roadmaps and actionable security enhancements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or related field; 4–7 years in cloud security, architecture, or engineering.
• Active cloud certifications required (AWS/Azure/Google) at least one.
• Hands-on experience securing workloads on major cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Familiarity with IAM, networking, encryption, logging, and shared-responsibility models.

Responsibilities

• Lead cloud security architecture reviews and configuration assessments across major clouds.
• Design zero trust architectures and phased adoption roadmaps.
• Review IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation) and CI/CD pipelines for security gaps.
• Map controls to NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI DSS and other frameworks.
• Develop high-quality deliverables, diagrams, and executive summaries.
