Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking a Senior Lead Cybersecurity Architect to define principles, standards, and patterns for secure multi-cloud and on-premises environments. You will lead security guidelines across product and enterprise teams and report to the Senior Director of Cybersecurity Architecture.

The role requires 8+ years in cybersecurity, experience with AWS and cloud-native security, and strong collaboration with cross-functional teams to implement robust guardrails and secure design patterns.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years in related field with cybersecurity focus.
• Experience delivering cybersecurity architectures across multi-cloud and on-prem.
• Strong communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Hands-on with AWS and on-prem infrastructure.
• Knowledge of ISO27001, NIST, FFIEC, GDPR.

Responsibilities

• Identify and recommend cybersecurity policies, standards, and guardrails.
• Drive definition of cybersecurity guidelines across product and enterprise architecture groups.
• Develop secure design patterns for engineering adoption.
• Collaborate with governance patterns, policies and standards.
• Provide analysis of risks and propose innovative solutions.
• Ensure secure release processes with cross-functional teams.
• Define guardrails to promote secure design pattern adoption.
• Participate in security events and incident response to close gaps.
• Research emerging threats and technologies for improvements.
• Collaborate to factor security into development and operations decisions.
• Incorporate vulnerability management and governance into standards.
