Job summary

Cox Automotive seeks a Senior Lead Cybersecurity Architect to define principles, standards, and design patterns for secure multi-cloud and on-premises environments. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and guide cybersecurity governance across product and enterprise engineering, reporting to the Senior Director of Cybersecurity Architecture.

The role requires extensive AWS and on‑premises expertise, knowledge of zero trust and security frameworks, and the ability to translate risk

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree (or higher) and 8+ years in related field; other combinations accepted.
At least 4 years focused on cybersecurity.
Practical expertise in AWS cloud infrastructure and on‑premises.
Ability to articulate cybersecurity policy objectives to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Identify and define cybersecurity policies, standards, procedures, and guardrails.
Drive definition of guidelines across product and enterprise architecture groups.
Develop secure design patterns for engineering teams to adopt.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security into release processes.
Lead governance discussions and participate in incident response to prevent reoccurrence.
