Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related discipline with relevant cybersecurity experience.
Eight or more years in a related field with progressive responsibility.
Experience in AWS cloud and on-premises infrastructure environments.
Ability to articulate cybersecurity policy targets to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong collaboration with Cox entities' cybersecurity teams to implement best practices.
Consultative approach to complex topics with leaders and teams.

Responsibilities

Identify and recommend cybersecurity policies, standards, procedures, and guardrails.
Drive definition of guidelines across product and enterprise architecture groups.
Develop secure design patterns for engineering teams.
Contribute to governance patterns, policies, and standards outside cyber security.
Analyze risks to information systems and propose innovative solutions.
Work with cross-functional teams to ensure scalable release processes.
Define guardrails with business and engineering to promote secure adoption.
Participate in security events and incident response to close gaps.
Research emerging threats and technologies and propose enhancements.
Collaborate with stakeholders to embed security in development and operations decisions.
Incorporate vulnerability management, governance, and compliance into standards.
