Hitachi Energy USA Inc. seeks a Principal Site Reliability Engineer to ensure secure, reliable, and efficient operation of cloud-hosted environments supporting ESS software.
The role combines software engineering and operations to improve service reliability, incident response, and toil reduction, across AWS and Azure, with cross-functional collaboration across product development, architecture, and CX teams.
Qualificações
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT or related field and 10+ years in Cloud Operations, SRE, or Infrastructure Administration.
- Experience in SRE, Production Ops, Platform Engineering, or DevOps supporting SaaS systems.
- Hands-on experience with Azure and/or AWS production workloads (networking, IAM, monitoring, logging, DR/backup).
Responsabilidades
- Lead Cloud Maturity Assessments across AWS and Azure with dashboards and remediation roadmaps.
- Define reliability standards for observability and SLAs across products and platforms.
- Facilitate cloud readiness reviews and drive day-2 operational improvements.
- Implement SRE practices: SLIs/SLOs, error budgets, capacity planning, automation.
- Lead post-incident reviews to improve uptime and resilience.
