Hitachi Energy Ltd. seeks a Principal Site Reliability Engineer to ensure the secure, reliable operation of cloud-hosted environments supporting ESS software products and customer deployments.

The SRE role blends software engineering with operations to improve service reliability across AWS and Azure, including incident response, problem management, and toil reduction. This position requires leadership across product, architecture, and CX teams.

Formación

• 10+ years in Cloud Operations, SRE, or Infrastructure Administration.
• Hands-on with Azure and/or AWS production workloads.
• Strong observability, metrics/logs/traces, and incident response.
• Ability to translate gaps into a prioritized backlog and drive improvements.

Responsabilidades

• Lead Cloud Maturity Assessments across AWS/Azure with dashboards and backlog.
• Define reliability standards for observability and runbooks across products.
• Facilitate readiness reviews with internal and external stakeholders.
• Implement SRE practices: SLIs/SLOs, error budgets, and toil reduction.
• Lead post-incident reviews and reliability improvements to boost uptime.
