Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 9–12+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience designing and operating cloud, infrastructure, platform, or site reliability capabilities in production.
• Proven track record solving complex distributed-system problems.
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code, modern runtimes, networking, identity, and delivery automation.
• Experience defining service objectives and using observability, capacity planning, and recovery testing.
• Experience leading incidents and translating lessons into durable improvements.
• Strong coding skills and ability to validate AI-generated outputs independently.

Responsibilities

• Build shared cloud foundations with reusable infrastructure and deployment automation.
• Apply AI-assisted engineering to accelerate development and testing while reviewing results.
• Guide architectures, migrations, and releases with reliability and cost trade-offs.
• Define evidence and changes needed before launch for production readiness.
• Establish service objectives, observability standards, and incident review processes.
• Test workload assumptions and use evidence to guide scaling decisions.
• Lead deep investigations across distributed services and verify root causes.
• Design resilience tests, recovery exercises, and rollback paths.
• Publish reference implementations and runbooks for broader reuse.
• Coach engineers and transfer capabilities to ongoing owners.
