Job summary

ICU Medical is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer, CloudOps to support a multi-account AWS environment hosting healthcare-oriented applications. You will bridge infrastructure engineering, production support, and cloud modernization across microservices architectures.

The role emphasizes strong AWS expertise, Linux administration, and security posture in HIPAA/HiTrust regulated environments. Expect on-call rotations, incident response, and ongoing CI/CD improvements.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in AWS Cloud Engineering, DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Infrastructure Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Manage a multi-account AWS Organization environment and core services (EC2, ECS/Fargate, Lambda, S3, CloudFront, API Gateway, Aurora/RDS).
• Support production deployments and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, CodePipeline) and infrastructure automation (CloudFormation).
• Monitor system health with Datadog, CloudWatch, and Zabbix; perform root-cause analysis and refine monitoring.
• Participate in on-call rotation, incident response, and failover validation for production apps and data stores.
• Maintain HIPAA/HiTrust compliance and security posture with IAM, GuardDuty, and network segmentation.
• Support Java (Spring Boot) and Python apps in containers; prepare for Kubernetes (EKS) modernization.
