Job summary

Google Cloud is seeking a Platform Customer Engineer who partners with technical Sales teams to differentiate Google Cloud for customers. You will be the primary technical partner, leading technical conversations, troubleshooting, PoCs and demos, and architecting cross-pillar cloud solutions that address business issues.

You will drive technical wins and present practical, useful solutions to technical and business leaders.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
10+ years in a customer-facing technical role designing and deploying cloud-native solutions.
Experience engaging with technical stakeholders or executive leaders.
Experience with cloud engineering, on-premise engineering, virtualization, or containerization platforms.
Programming languages, debugging, systems design, prototyping, demos, or customer workshops.

Responsibilities

Develop and own technical account plans and strategies for targeted sales motions.
Combine sales, programming, and solutions architecture to demonstrate cloud value through demos and workshops.
Architect cross-pillar solutions and define delivery plans for customers; lead technical engagements.
Support pricing activities and transition final delivery plans to implementation teams.
Maintain awareness of progress and assist cross-functional teams during ramp, delivery, migration, or implementation phases.
