Job summary

Onyx Capital Group is establishing its Sri Lanka engineering hub and is seeking two Senior Platform Infrastructure Engineers to anchor the team’s cloud and reliability function. You will own the cloud infrastructure powering live trading systems, respond to incidents, drive automation, and build tooling in collaboration with the UK/Dubai platform teams across Singapore and early Dubai/UK hours.

Qualifications

5–10+ years in cloud infrastructure or platform engineering.
Microsoft Azure experience with large-scale deployments.
Terraform for IaC with multi-environment deployments.
Kubernetes in production; deploying, troubleshooting, and networking.
Python scripting for automation and tooling.
GitHub, Azure DevOps, or GitLab with CI/CD workflows.
Incident response experience and clear communication under pressure.
Self-directed and able to prioritize across time zones.
Customer-focused reliability mindset for traders and engineers.
Remote support experience for distributed teams across time zones.
Strong written and spoken English for asynchronous communication.
