Job summary

London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to own reliability, performance, and scalability of shared services. You will automate AWS/Azure, improve observability with Datadog and CloudWatch, and collaborate with development teams to accelerate releases.

You will participate in on-call rotations, drive blameless postmortems, and evangelize best practices for scalable, secure cloud-native architectures across multi-cloud environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Proficiency in Shell and Python scripting.
• Experience with Terraform or other IaC tools.
• Hands-on with AWS services and Azure equivalents.
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes (EKS/AKS preferred).
• Familiar with Datadog, CloudWatch, or Azure Monitor.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines and Git workflows.
• Incident response and blameless postmortems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain SLOs for cloud-hosted systems and improve availability.
• Design automation for AWS and Azure to scale systems efficiently.
• Collaborate with development teams to enhance reliability and release velocity.
• Participate in on-call rotations and postmortems.
• Promote strong engineering practices for scalable services.
• Support cloud migrations with observability dashboards.
• Drive learning in multi-cloud technologies.
