Onyx Capital Group Limited seeks a Principal Engineering Technical Lead to establish and scale our Sri Lanka hub, reporting to the CTO in London. You will lead from the front, shaping culture, making hard technical calls, and delivering high‑quality software with global distributed teams.

We value ownership, clear communication, and a track record of building and mentoring high‑performing engineers in dynamic, technology‑driven trading environments.

Formación

• 10–15+ years in software engineering with 3+ years in a technical leadership or engineering management role.
• Proven experience building and growing engineering teams; comfortable starting hands‑on with a small team and scaling it.
• Hands‑on proficiency in at least one of Python, React.js, or C#; active contributor to production codebases in leadership.
• Deep command of OOP fundamentals — encapsulation, inheritance, polymorphism, and design patterns.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and shape the Sri Lanka engineering hub, reporting to the CTO in London.
• Build, scale, and technically lead a team starting at 4–5 engineers and growing to 10+.
• Set coding standards and drive TDD, CI/CD, and observability across the team.
