Job summary

London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) is expanding its Reliability Engineering team. As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer, you will own the design, reliability, and operational excellence of the high-performance FX trading platform within the Electronic Trading team.

You will drive architectural enhancements, build automation, and collaborate with development teams to improve observability and release velocity, while participating in on-call rotations and incident reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• Proficiency in Java, C#, Python.
• Experience with relational databases and SQL.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, etc.).
• Observability practices: logging, metrics, tracing, alerting.
• Hands-on with cloud platforms: Azure, AWS, Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain SLOs for critical systems.
• Improve availability and system health.
• Develop automation to scale systems and prevent issues.
• Collaborate with dev teams to improve reliability and release velocity.
• Participate in on-call rotations and incident response.
• Support cloud migrations and operational readiness.
• Configure Datadog dashboards and metrics.
