Job summary

SitusAMC is seeking a senior cloud-focused engineer to lead infrastructure as code with Terraform, potent GitOps pipelines, and AWS-native services. You will shape strategic cloud directions, automate delivery pipelines, and collaborate across teams to ensure secure, scalable, and compliant cloud platforms.

Ideal candidates bring extensive Terraform experience, Kubernetes and Istio/Linkerd service mesh familiarity, and strong scripting skills in Python or Shell.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 8+ years developing Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform or similar).
• 6+ years building CI/CD pipelines with GitOps (FluxCD, ArgoCD) and automation tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
• Hands-on Kubernetes and service mesh experience (Istio, Linkerd).
• Strong scripting/programming background (Python, Shell).
• AWS proficiency with EKS, EC2, RDS, Lambda, and related services.

Responsibilities

• Build scalable AWS environments using Terraform and IaC best practices.
• Shape enterprise AWS solutions with security-first mindset.
• Drive release automation with CI/CD pipelines (GitOps, ArgoCD, GitHub Actions).
• Automate patching and upkeep of IaC and pipelines.
• Collaborate with external customers and internal teams to align infrastructure with needs.
• Champion automation of AWS Infrastructure across the org.
