Job summary

SitusAMC is hiring a senior cloud/DevOps engineer to design and implement scalable AWS infrastructure, driven by IaC and automated pipelines. You will work with Kubernetes, service meshes, and modern CI/CD tooling to deliver secure, resilient cloud services.

This role emphasizes automation, security, and performance in a remote-friendly environment. The position requires extensive Terraform/IaC experience, GitOps expertise, and hands-on AWS knowledge, including EKS, EC2, and RDS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 6+ years of industry and/or relevant experience, typically with 1+ years in a Senior Associate level role or external equivalent.
• 8+ years developing Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform or similar).
• 6+ years building pipelines with GitOps (FluxCD, ArgoCD) and automation tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
• Hands-on with Kubernetes, service mesh (Istio, Linkerd), and auto-scaling solutions like Karpenter.
• Strong scripting/programming background (Python, Shell, or equivalent).
• AWS proficiency with EKS, EC2, RDS, Lambda, Step Functions, VPC, IAM.

Responsibilities

• Build scalable, cost-effective AWS environments using Terraform and IaC best practices.
• Develop enterprise AWS solutions with security-first mindset for resilience and performance.
• Drive release automation through CI/CD pipelines (GitOps, ArgoCD, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
• Automate patching, upgrades, and upkeep of IaC and pipelines to stay healthy and compliant.
• Collaborate with external customers and internal teams to align infra with needs.
• Champion automation of Infrastructure in AWS to minimize manual interventions.
• Contribute ideas to evolve our cloud strategy and drive innovation.
• Perform other duties as assigned by manager.
