Cboe Global Markets is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to join its Cloud Operations team. You will design, build, and operate cloud-native infrastructure, lead project delivery, and raise the technical depth of the team across AWS/GCP, Kubernetes, Terraform, and GitOps workflows.

You will mentor engineers and drive scalable, secure solutions in a fast-paced environment. The role emphasizes on-call readiness, collaboration with security and development teams, and delivering end-to-end

Competenze

• 6+ years in public cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
• Hands-on with Kubernetes (EKS/GKE) and GitOps (Argo CD).
• Terraform, CI/CD (Jenkins/GitHub Actions), and Python scripting.
• Linux-based systems and networking fundamentals.
• Security, IAM, observability, and Vault familiarity.

Mansioni

• Build and maintain a globally distributed cloud infrastructure platform using Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform).
• Design, deploy, and operate Kubernetes-based platforms and workloads (EKS, Cluster API).
• Support and enhance CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.
• Perform system and database maintenance, including deployment, backup, patching, and upgrades.
• Maintain cloud environments through incident response and performance tuning.
• Participate in on-call rotations and support operational readiness.
• Lead design discussions and reviews, providing technical direction to engineers.
• Define and evolve platform patterns and standards for maintainability.
