Job summary

Aurora is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for our Cloud Platform team in Pittsburgh. You will drive upgrades to Kubernetes infrastructure, build developer-facing tooling, and collaborate with teams to accelerate delivery of cloud services.

Required 5+ years shipping production software, deep Kubernetes knowledge, and experience in Go, Python, or C++. We value IaC, Helm/ArgoCD, and observability tooling in our stack; hybrid in-office work is supported.

Qualifications

• 5+ years demonstrated experience shipping commercial products and services, preferably in Go.
• Cloud infrastructure experience (AWS/EKS preferred).
• Deep understanding of Kubernetes internals.
• Experience building and operating services on Kubernetes.
• Experience writing production code in one of three languages: Go, Python, C++.

Responsibilities

• Drive and manage upgrades and improvements to our Kubernetes infrastructure.
• Use your deep knowledge of Kubernetes internals to build developer-facing tooling and infrastructure that creates developer happiness and improves development velocity.
• Work with teams across the company to gather requirements, support, and drive projects forward.
