Job summary

Peregrine is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Platform team in Washington, DC. You will own moderately complex infrastructure problems, ship initiatives to improve performance, reliability, and security, and help make the platform developer-friendly.

This hands-on role requires 5+ years of cloud infrastructure experience, proficiency in Python or Go, and experience with public clouds, Kubernetes, and IaC tooling.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience building and operating cloud infrastructure at scale.
• Proficiency in Python or Go for infrastructure work.
• Hands-on experience with public clouds, container orchestration, and IaC tooling.

Responsibilities

• Scale Peregrine's cloud footprint and improve performance, reliability, and security.
• Build autoscaling and right-sizing systems to reduce cloud spend.
• Strengthen incident response for mission-critical services.
