Job summary

CCC Intelligent Solutions Inc. is seeking a seasoned Platform Engineer to design, deploy, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure across Azure and AWS. You will drive observability, automation, and secure platform practices to empower AI-driven services and ML workflows.

You will mentor engineers, collaborate across CCC teams, and participate in on-call rotations to ensure health and performance of critical systems.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in DevOps, SRE, Platform Engineering, or related roles.
• Proven experience deploying and operating large-scale prod systems on Azure and/or AWS.
• Strong understanding of cloud infra, networking, containerization, CI/CD, DNS, and platform practices.
• Experience partnering with product engineering to build and support prod environments.
• Hands-on with security tooling including SIEM, scanners, and cloud security solutions.
• Ability to translate business challenges into scalable technical solutions.
• Strong problem-solving and collaborative mindset.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with monitoring/telemetry platforms like Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve critical production issues under pressure.
• Passion for automation, reliability, and continuous improvement.
• Comfortable deploying and managing Kubernetes; Helm and ArgoCD.
• Ability to work across federated teams and drive cross-functional initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Enhance observability across Azure, AWS, and apps for performance insights.
• Drive platform standards, scalability, and automation.
• Empower engineering and ML teams to deploy on cloud-native platforms.
• Use IaC and CI/CD tools (Terraform, Bicep, GitHub) for provisioning and deployments.
• Design secure cloud environments aligned with security standards.
• Foster reliability and continuous improvement across federated teams.
• Collaborate with CCC teams to deliver scalable solutions.
• Mentor engineers to grow platform capabilities.
• Participate in on-call rotation to support health and performance.
