Job summary

Collective is seeking a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to own the platform’s AWS and GCP foundations, CI/CD, IaC, observability, and security. You will partner with product engineering to unblock shipping and with the security team to keep the platform safe.

The role emphasizes designing scalable, reliable systems, mentoring teammates, and continuously improving infra practices, including AI-assisted DevOps workflows. Hybrid SF-based role with strong compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Cloud Infra, DevOps, or SRE.
• Experience with AWS and GCP multi-cloud.
• Infrastructure as code and security policy as code.

Responsibilities

• Use Terraform to provision and manage cloud resources on AWS and GCP.
• Embed zero-trust security principles into infrastructure.
• Build scalable, cost-efficient systems and test DR plans.
• Own CI/CD standards and mentor teams.
• Automate to reduce toil and leverage AI tooling.
• Collaborate with product engineering on infra needs.
• Own observability stack and respond to incidents.
• Participate in on-call rotations.
• Stay current with cloud, DevOps, and platform tech.
