Job summary

Vanguard is seeking a senior Platform Engineer to lead cloud infrastructure design, governance, and modernization initiatives supporting investment platforms. You will drive AWS architecture, Kubernetes operations, and secure, observable platforms across development, test, and production environments.

Responsibilities include advancing CI/CD pipelines, IaC adoption, and automation to improve engineering productivity while ensuring compliance with risk and security requirements.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in infrastructure/platform DevOps, cloud engineering, or related fields.
• Deep expertise with AWS cloud services and cloud-native architectures; production Kubernetes experience.
• Strong experience with Infrastructure-as-Code and automation frameworks.
• Proven ability to design secure, highly available distributed systems and manage CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead AWS platform architecture, modernization, and migration initiatives.
• Design scalable, highly available, and secure infrastructure patterns across environments.
• Drive platform observability, monitoring, logging, and operational readiness.
