Job summary

The Vanguard Group is seeking a senior AWS cloud engineer to design, build, and support cloud-native solutions for enterprise applications in a hybrid work environment.

You will implement Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and CloudFormation, develop reusable platform services and APIs, and advance AI-driven capabilities using AWS Bedrock and LLMs, collaborating with product, engineering, and business teams to deliver high-value use cases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a software-related field.
• 5+ years designing and developing solutions on AWS.
• Strong knowledge of cloud architecture, automation, CI/CD, and DevOps.
• Proficiency in Python, Java or Node.js.
• Experience with AI/LLM/Bedrock and RAG is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, and supports AWS-based cloud solutions using IaC, automation, and CI/CD.
• Builds reusable platform services, APIs, and cloud-native components.
• Implements agentic AI solutions with AWS Bedrock, LLMs, and RAG.
• Integrates AI with enterprise apps, APIs, and data platforms.
• Collaborates with product and engineering teams on high-value use cases.
• Ensures security, governance, reliability, and performance.
