Job summary

Guardian is seeking a senior Platform Engineer to design, build, and operate enterprise cloud platforms and automation ecosystems. You will own the EKS platform lifecycle and guide automation efforts for multiple application teams.

The role requires deep Kubernetes expertise, strong scripting and Linux skills, and experience with Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, and serverless models. You will mentor engineers and advance platform maturity at scale.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in platform/ cloud engineering, DevOps, or similar roles.
• Deep hands-on Kubernetes and EKS production operations.
• Experience with Linux troubleshooting, Docker, and automation.
• Strong IaC skills with Terraform or equivalent.
• CI/CD experience with Jenkins and/or GitHub Actions.
• Programming/scripting in Python and Shell for automation.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate Guardian's enterprise cloud platforms and automation ecosystems.
• Own critical components of the Amazon EKS platform lifecycle.
• Support automation, system design, and operational tooling for application teams.
• Balance deep Kubernetes ownership with versatile engineering across scripting, Linux, Helm, CI/CD, and serverless workflows.
• Focus on reliability, security-by-default patterns, and disciplined platform lifecycle management.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to raising platform engineering, automation, and operational maturity.
