Job summary

NISC seeks a software developer to join the Platform Team to build and enhance cloud-based services and security solutions. You will work with engineers to develop platform capabilities, improve operational efficiency, and deliver secure, scalable experiences for users.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software development or infrastructure experience.
• Experience with Java, Spring Boot, Gradle, Angular.
• Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
• Knowledge of IAM, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, or SAML.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience with cloud providers (AWS) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance cloud-native applications and platform services using modern software engineering practices.
• Complete complex software maintenance and enhancements independently.
• Analyze and translate advanced user requirements into software across multiple areas of the solution.
• Build and support identity, authentication, and access management solutions.
• Create, test, and deploy scalable APIs, integrations, and backend services.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and product stakeholders to troubleshoot issues and optimize performance.
• Work with development teams to research, design, and implement new features.
• Leverage generative AI tools to enhance productivity and problem-solving.
