Job summary

NISC is seeking a software developer to join the Platform Team to build and enhance cloud-based services and security solutions. You will work with engineers to develop platform capabilities that support application development, improve efficiency, and deliver secure, scalable experiences for users.

The role focuses on cloud technologies, identity management, and portal experiences. You will contribute to solutions that strengthen NISC's products and services, with opportunities to leverage

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software development or infrastructure experience.
• Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
• Strong understanding of application security and secure software development principles.
• Experience with cloud providers (AWS) is a plus.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices.
• Proficient with Git and containerization (Docker).

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance cloud-native applications and platform services.
• Build and deploy scalable APIs, integrations, and backend services.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers and product stakeholders to troubleshoot issues and drive platform improvements.
• Work with IAM, authentication and access management solutions to improve security and user experience.
• Leverage AI tools to enhance productivity and problem-solving within the role.
• Follow industry best practices and stay current with technology trends.
