Job summary

NISC is seeking a senior software developer to join the Platform Team to enhance cloud-based services and security across our enterprise software ecosystem. You’ll design scalable backend services, APIs, and IAM solutions, collaborating with architects and product stakeholders to deliver robust platform capabilities.

You will work in a hybrid environment across multiple North American locations, contributing to cloud technologies, application security, and portal experiences while leveraging AI

Qualifications

• Minimum 6+ years' experience in software development or infrastructure.
• Experience with Java, Springboot, Gradle, Angular.
• Experience with building and running containers (Docker).
• Proficient with Python and Terraform.
• Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
• Knowledge of identity and access management (IAM), OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, or SAML.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices.
• Strong understanding of application security and secure software development principles.
• Experience with cloud providers (AWS) is a plus.
• Experience with SSO and IDPs is a plus.
• Proficient with Git.

• Build and support identity, authentication, and access management solutions.

• Collaborate with teams to design and implement new features.
