National Information Solutions Cooperative, Inc. seeks a Software Developer III to advance cloud platform services, focusing on backend authentication, IAM, and scalable APIs.

You’ll work with a talented Platform Team to enhance security and efficiency across enterprise applications in a hybrid work setting. The role emphasizes building cloud-native solutions, collaborating with architects and stakeholders, and leveraging modern DevOps practices.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in software development or infrastructure.
• Experience with Java, Spring Boot, Gradle, Angular.
• Experience with building and running containers (Docker).
• Proficient with Python and Terraform.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
• Knowledge of IAM, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, or SAML.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices.
• Strong understanding of application security and secure SDLC.
• Experience with AWS cloud is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance cloud-native applications and platform services.
• Complete complex software maintenance and enhancements independently.
• Analyze and translate complex requirements into software across multiple solution areas.
• Build and support identity, authentication, and access management solutions.
• Create, test, and deploy scalable APIs and backend services for enterprise apps.
• Collaborate with architects and product stakeholders to troubleshoot and improve platform.
• Research and leverage AI tools to boost productivity and problem-solving.
• Follow industry best practices and stay updated with tech trends.
• Assist in implementing new features with development teams.
