Job summary

Eliassen Group seeks a Staff Cloud Network Engineer to lead secure, resilient cloud and hybrid network architectures across AWS and Azure. The role requires design and deployment of hub‑and‑spoke patterns, Palo Alto firewalls, and automation using Terraform within a remote/work‑from‑anywhere setup.

You will collaborate across Cloud, Platform, Infrastructure, Security, and application teams, driving observability, compliance, and scalable connectivity for global environments.

Qualifications

• 8+ years designing, implementing, and supporting complex production network environments with cloud networking responsibilities.
• Advanced hands‑on experience with AWS and Azure networking.
• Design experience for multi‑region, multi‑account architectures and resilient hybrid connectivity.
• Hands‑on deployment of Palo Alto firewalls in AWS and Azure.
• Strong knowledge of BGP, routing policy, segmentation, and security.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of secure, highly available cloud/hybrid networks across AWS and Azure.
• Architect multi-region connectivity using Transit Gateway, Cloud WAN, Direct Connect, and ExpressRoute.
• Develop standardized designs for routing, inspection, and private connectivity.
• Deploy Palo Alto Cloud NGFW/VM-Series with HA and integration to CI/CD workflows.
• Automate infrastructure with Terraform and network automation using Python/Ansible.
