Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a Staff Cloud Network Engineer to lead secure cloud and hybrid network architectures across AWS and Azure. You will implement hub-and-spoke designs, deploy Palo Alto firewalls, automate with Terraform, and drive standardized connectivity and observability across global environments.

Role requires 8+ years in cloud networking, strong AWS/Azure experience, and hands-on Terraform/automation skills. W2 benefits: medical, dental, vision, 401k matching, and life insurance.

Qualifications

• 8+ years designing, implementing, and supporting complex production network environments with cloud networking
• Advanced hands-on experience with AWS and Azure networking, with deep expertise in at least one
• Experience building multi-region, multi-account, or multi-subscription networks and resilient hybrid connectivity

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of secure, highly available network architectures across AWS and Azure
• Architect multi-region connectivity using Transit Gateway, ExpressRoute, and VPN
• Develop standardized designs for routing, segmentation, and centralized inspection
• Design and deploy Palo Alto Networks firewalls with HA and integration
• Build infrastructure as code using Terraform and automate with Python or Ansible
• Establish Git-based workflows and CI/CD for network changes
• Mentor engineers on cloud networking, IaC, and automation
