Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a Staff Cloud Network Engineer to lead secure, resilient cloud and hybrid network architectures across AWS and Azure, design hub-and-spoke patterns with centralized inspection, deploy Palo Alto firewalls, and automate infrastructure using Terraform and modern CI/CD practices.

Qualifications

• 8+ years designing, implementing, and supporting complex production network environments
• Advanced hands-on experience with AWS and Azure networking
• Design experience for multi-region, multi-account architectures and resilient hybrid connectivity

Responsibilities

• Lead design and deployment of secure, highly available cloud networks across AWS and Azure
• Architect multi-region, multi-account connectivity using Transit Gateway and ExpressRoute
• Develop standardized routing, segmentation, and centralized inspection designs
• Deploy Palo Alto Networks Cloud NGFW/VM-Series with HA and integration
• Automate infrastructure with Terraform and network automation via Python/Ansible
• Establish Git-based workflows and CI/CD for change management
• Mentor engineers and coordinate with Cloud, Platform, Infra, and Security teams
• Drive observability, compliance, and performance improvements
