Job summary

Oracle is seeking a seasoned Network Architect for the Network Region Build (NRB) team in Chicago. You will design, deploy, and operate large-scale global cloud networks, supporting OCI regions and multi-cloud connectivity, with a strong focus on automation and efficient tooling.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science preferred and extensive network experience.
Experience in a large ISP or cloud provider environment.
Strong Python for automation and datacenter design.
Experience with networking protocols such as TCP/IP, VPN, DNS, DHCP, SSL/TLS.
Experience with Internet peering and inter-domain networking.
Experience with scripting or automation and datacenter design.
Experience with automation systems, framework design/use and deployment.
Experience with network modeling and programming – YANG, OpenConfig, NETCONF.
Knowledge of network security design and performance testing.

Responsibilities

Lead network lifecycle management programs by defining high-level objectives and delivery procedures.
Coordinate with engineers and leadership; may serve as technical SME.
Develop automation scripts and support monitoring and tooling.
Provide break-fix support for large-scale network events.
Collaborate with product teams and PMO to assess gaps and needs.
