Job summary

Oracle is recruiting for a Network Engineer within the Network Region Build (NRB) team in the United States. You will design, deploy, and operate large-scale global cloud networks supporting OCI regions, with responsibility for data center fabrics, edge networks, backbone, and multi-cloud connectivity.

The role emphasizes automation, scripting, and collaboration with Network Automation to improve processes, reliability, and performance across millions of connected servers and dedicated backbone

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and 8+ years in large ISP or cloud provider environment.
• Experience with Python for automation and datacenter design.
• Experience with networking protocols such as TCP/IP, VPN, DNS, DHCP, SSL; exposure to BGP/OSPF/IS-IS and MPLS.

Responsibilities

• Lead network lifecycle management programs by defining high-level objectives and delivery procedures.
• Coordinate with engineers and cross-functional teams; may serve as SME in cross-functional activities.
• Develop network solutions with complex interactions; provide Tier2 break-fix support.
• Drive automation and tooling to improve efficiency and reliability.
