Job summary

UDR Consulting, INC is seeking a Cloud Network Engineer based in Charleston, West Virginia. You will design secure networks, manage VPNs and direct connections, and implement traffic routing with a focus on scalable, compliant architectures.

You will apply cloud networking best practices across AWS/Azure/GCP, configure security groups and firewalls, and automate resource deployment using Terraform. Candidates should show strong networking fundamentals and scripting ability.

Qualifications

• Hands-on cloud platforms experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Strong TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP and routing protocols knowledge.
• Experience with cloud firewalls, IAM, and security groups.

Responsibilities

• Design secure, scalable networks with subnets and routing tables.
• Configure VPNs, direct connections, and load balancers.
• Set up firewalls, ACLs, and encryption policies.
• Use IaC tools like Terraform to deploy network resources.
• Monitor traffic, troubleshoot uptime, and resolve connectivity issues.
