Job summary

Platform9 Systems seeks an experienced Senior Cloud Network Infrastructure Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain high-performance SDN architectures for its private cloud infra. The role bridges data center networking expertise with cloud-native telemetry, microservices, OpenStack environments, and Kubernetes-native development.

You will manage virtual switching platforms, overlay networking, and L2/L3 dynamic routing to ensure seamless connectivity and robust security across the private

Qualifications

• 8–15 years of software development and infrastructure experience across cloud engineering or large-scale data centers.
• Strong Linux networking concepts and kernel-level networking.
• Production OpenStack deployments with OVN/OVS backend.
• Experience in Golang, Python, or C with network management applications.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, operationalize and maintain SDN architectures for private cloud infrastructure.
• Manage OpenStack networking services (Neutron, Metadata) and Kubernetes ecosystem.
