Job summary

Opti9 Technologies seeks a Network Engineer III to join our Cloud Networking team. You will deploy and support networks across public/private clouds, focusing on SDN, NSX, and cross-vendor configurations with focus on security and performance.

You will collaborate with NOC and Cloud Ops, provide Tier 3 support, and drive automation initiatives using Python, Nautobot, Ansible, and related tools. Hybrid work options available.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in infrastructure/network environments designing LANs/WANs.
• 3+ years with Cisco/Arista routing, switching and firewall technologies.
• Strong scripting/automation capability in Python or Ansible.

Responsibilities

• Configure and support logical circuit connections across backbone to customer sites and regions.
• Manage data center and Colocation connectivity down to access level.
• Operate networking/security monitoring platforms to meet SLAs.
• Troubleshoot complex network issues and adjust NAT/firewall rules.
• Lead customer-facing projects including design, diagrams, and implementation.
• Deploy NSX/Vmware Cloud Director network configurations for new customers.
