Platform9 is seeking a Software Engineer to join our cloud-native product suite. You will contribute to the Kubernetes ecosystem, support platform deployments, and help shape the product roadmap with a strong focus on open private cloud technologies.

The role requires solid CS fundamentals, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work effectively in a distributed team. This is a remote, full-time position within the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong programming skills in Python or Go (Golang).
• 6–15 years of software development experience.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Kubernetes.
• Experience with OpenStack/DevStack is a plus.
• Strong Linux/Unix knowledge and networking fundamentals.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a proactive approach.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to cloud-native products and services for the Kubernetes ecosystem.
• Support cloud infrastructure deployments using Platform9 products, including troubleshooting and resolution of issues.
• Collaborate to design and implement the product roadmap.
