Job summary

Copeland is seeking a Senior Agile Engineer - Software to design cloud-native solutions and deliver scalable, secure applications. You will work with TypeScript, React on the frontend, and NestJS on the backend, building robust APIs for IoT and partner integrations.

The role emphasizes automated testing, security practices, and proactive on-call support, with travel to St. Louis or Atlanta up to one week per quarter. A strong cloud background is essential.

Qualifications

• 5 years of software development experience with multiple languages (eg. TypeScript, C#, HTML, XAML, PowerShell, SQL, Swift).
• Experience deploying software on a major cloud native platform (Microsoft Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Comfortable with automation for development, testing, and deployment.
• Enjoys paired programming and can translate business requirements into design.
• Has shipped at least one commercially used software product and participates in on-call support.
• Able to travel to St. Louis or Atlanta up to 1 week per quarter.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud-native solutions with IaC for scalable deployments.
• Use serverless computing on Azure to optimize scalability and cost.
• Build modern apps with TypeScript, React frontend and NestJS backend.
• Create automated unit and behavioral tests for reliability and quality.
• Write production code daily with secure, rollback-friendly practices.
• Develop APIs and protocols for integration with websites, partners, mobile apps, and IoT devices.
