Job summary

Copeland is hiring a Senior Agile Engineer - Software to lead greenfield IoT initiatives in a cloud-native environment. You will design scalable architectures, implement serverless Azure solutions, and build modern apps with TypeScript, React, and NestJS. Expect a strong emphasis on security, testing, and integration across platforms.

The role requires traveling to St. Louis or Atlanta up to one week per quarter, and a proven track record shipping commercial software.

Qualifications

• 5 years of software development experience across multiple languages and platforms.
• Experience deploying software on major cloud native platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Comfort with automation for development, testing and deployment.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud-native solutions with IaC for scalable deployments.
• Use serverless computing on Azure to optimize scalability and cost.
• Build frontend with React and backend with NestJS.
• Create automated unit and behavioral tests to ensure reliability.
• Implement production code daily with secure rollback mechanisms.
• Develop APIs for websites, partners, mobile apps and IoT devices.
